Providence Softball Falls to Boston University

BOSTON - The Lady Friar softball squad fell to Boston University, 1-0 and 8-0 in Boston, MA. In the first contest, the Terriers scored in the bottom of the eighth inning to claim the 1-0 victory. Kerry Herr hit a single and drove in pinch runner Kenya Palmer of Boston University. PC pitcher Robyn West allowed only five hits from the mound.

In the second game, PC pitcher Heather Nathan allowed 12 hits and eight runs as the Friars fell, 8-0. PC gave up one error and made contact on only four hits in the seven innings.
