Jenkins enters her seventh season as an assistant coach on Head Coach Jim Crowley’s staff at Providence College. Jenkins also serves as the program's recruiting coordinator.
Prior to her arrival at Providence, Jenkins spent the 2015-16 season with Crowley at St. Bonaventure as an assistant coach. She helped guide the Bonnies to a 24-8 overall record, including a 12-4 mark in the Atlantic 10. St. Bonaventure earned an at-large selection to the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Second Round as a No. 10 seed with a 65-54 victory over seventh-seeded Oklahoma State in the First Round.
Jenkins enjoyed an impressive playing career under Crowley at St. Bonaventure (2008-12), leading the Brown and White to four-consecutive post-season appearances and an overall record of 98-37 (41-15 Atlantic 10).
Jenkins was a First Team All-Atlantic 10 Conference selection as a senior. She led the A-10 in three-point field goals and averaged 13.9 points per game. The Bonnies set a school record with 31 wins and went undefeated in the Atlantic 10 (14-0), to claim the Atlantic 10 regular-season title. Jenkins also was one of 30 finalists for Naismith Player of the Year that season after helping to lead the Bonnies to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history.
The Marion, Ohio native is the Atlantic 10’s all-time leader in three-pointers, with 338. She also holds the top two single-season marks for three-pointers, with 110 (2011-12) and 100 (2010-11) triples, respectively. Jenkins is second in school history in free throw percentage (.869) and also holds the program’s single-game mark for three-pointers (nine). She ranks seventh all-time in program history with 1,441 career points.
After graduating, Jenkins went on to a successful professional career. She played for Keflavik in Iceland her first season, then played for the Cardiff Archers in England for two seasons and one season with the Western Port Steelers in Australia.
