PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College women's basketball Head Coach
Erin Batth announced today [April 27] that Daviane Mindoudi Ongbakahoumb (Bilbao, Spain) has signed an athletic aid agreement and will attend Providence in 2026-27.
"Davi gives us size at the guard position and has the ability to be a top defender in the BIG EAST Conference," Batth said. "Offensively, she can hit the three and get downhill when attacking the rim. We want to play fast and she will help our team be a threat in transition. We are excited to have Davi join our program."
Mindoudi, a 6-1 guard, earned valuable experience playing in the SEC during her time with the Gators. She played 49 games during over the last two seasons, including seven appearances in the starting line-up. Six of those starts came during SEC regular season play, against the likes of LSU, Texas, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Prior to college, Mindoudi played in Barcelona, Spain for Segle XXI, which competes in the Spanish Liga Femenina 2. During her final in 2023-24, she finished inside the top five on the team in points, assists, steals, blocks and rebounds.
