Women's Basketball Announces 2025-26 BIG EAST Conference Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's basketball BIG EAST regular-season schedule was revealed on Friday, Sept. 19. All game times and broadcast assignments for television and streaming will be announced at a later date. The Friars will play a 20-game league schedule in 2025-26, playing each league member once at home and once on the road. Providence will open BIG EAST play on Thursday, Dec. 4 on the road against Xavier.
2025-2026 Providence College Women's Basketball Schedule
The Friars' 10 home games during BIG EAST play include Georgetown on Sunday, Dec. 21; Connecticut on Wednesday, Dec. 31 (at Amica Mutual Pavilion); Seton Hall on Thursday, Jan. 8; Villanova on Sunday, Jan. 11; Creighton on Saturday, Jan. 17; St. John's on Saturday, Jan. 31; Xavier on Sunday, Feb. 8; Butler on Wednesday, Feb. 11; DePaul on Wednesday, Feb. 18 and Marquette on Sunday, March 1. All home games will be played at Alumni Hall / Mullaney Gymnasium, except for Providence's New Year's Eve match-up against UConn. The Friars will host the Huskies at The Amica Mutual Pavilion for the second-straight season.
In addition to its season-opening road game at Xavier on Dec. 4, Providence will play the following games on the road, including St. John's on Sunday, Dec. 7; DePaul on Sunday, Jan. 4; Butler on Wednesday, Jan. 14; Seton Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 20; Villanova on Tuesday, Jan. 27; Marquette on Wednesday, Feb. 4; Georgetown on Saturday, Feb. 14; Connecticut on Sunday, Feb. 22 (at Gampel Pavilion) and Creighton on Thursday, Feb. 26.
The upcoming season marks the first of a six-year media agreement, which will span from 2025-26 through 2030-31, encompassing coverage on FOX Sports (FOX, FS1), NBC Sports (NBC, Peacock) and TNT Sports (TNT, TBS, truTV and Max). The agreement will provide major national broadcast, cable, and direct-to-consumer streaming coverage of BIG EAST women's and men's basketball games. ESPN+ will also stream a minimum of 75 women's basketball games.
