Women's Basketball To Face Baylor And Kennesaw State At West Palm Beach Classic

Friars will complete at the 2023 West Palm Beach Classic on Dec. 20-21.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Coast 2 Coast Basketball released the matchups for the 2023 West Palm Beach Classic today [Oct. 4]. The Providence College women's basketball team will face Baylor and Kennesaw State in the tournament, which is scheduled for Dec. 20-21 in West Palm Beach, Fla. 
 
The Friars will open the tournament on Wednesday, December 20 against Baylor University. The game will be played at Massimino Court on the campus of Keiser University. Tip-off is slated for 3:30 p.m.
 
On Thursday, December 21, Providence will take on Kennesaw State at 1:15 p.m. The game will be played at Rubin Arena on the campus of Palm Beach Atlantic University.
 
With the unveiling of Providence's opponents at the West Palm Beach Classic, the Friars' 2023-24 schedule is complete. Providence will face 13 teams that qualified for post-season play last season. Ten of those 13 teams competed in the NCAA Tournament, while three others earned invitations to the WNIT.
