PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College men's lacrosse team dropped to 1-1 this season after falling to No. 20 Bryant, 19-7, on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on Saturday (Feb. 12).
First Quarter:
• Matt Grillo (Setauket, N.Y.) got the Friars on the board just 1:05 into the game for his fourth goal of the season.
• After Bryant tied it,
Evan McGreen (Narragansett, R.I.) gave Providence a 2-1 lead with his seventh tally of the year.
• The Bulldogs responded with four-consecutive goals to take a 5-2 lead.
• Sophomore
Michael Chabra (Reading, Mass.) closed the gap to 5-3 with his second goal of the season.
Second Quarter:
• Bryant opened the second quarter with five-consecutive goals to take a 10-3 lead.

Chris Cusolito (Melrose, Mass.) notched his second goal of the season to cut the deficit to 10-4.
• The teams held each other scoreless for the final 5:20 of the quarter.
Third Quarter:
• Bryant outscored the Friars by a 6-2 margin in the third quarter.

Jack Horrigan (Lutherville, Md.) and
Brendan Driscoll (Middleton, Mass.) each scored their first goals of the season.

Ryan Bell (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) assisted on both goals in the third quarter.
Fourth Quarter:
• Goaltenders
Will Collins (Marblehead, Mass.) and
Matt Murakami (Lake Grove, Ill.) each saw action in the fourth quarter.

Michael Harris (Baskin Ridge, N.J.) made 15 saves before exiting the game.
• Freshman
Quinn McConnaughey (Cohasset, Mass.) scored his first of the season directly off a faceoff win.
