Women's Basketball Scheduled Update

The BIG EAST has rescheduled two women's basketball games vs. Xavier and Butler.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The BIG EAST Conference announced today [Jan. 4] that two Providence College women's basketball games vs. Xavier and Butler, previously postponed due to COVID last weekend, have been rescheduled. 
 
Providence will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. against Xavier on Tuesday, Jan. 11 at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Friars were originally slated to play the Musketeers on Dec. 31. Providence will take on Butler at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. The previous match-up was originally scheduled for Jan. 2. Both games will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network via FloSports.

The Friars return to action on Friday, Jan. 7 against DePaul. The game will be played at Alumni Hall in Providence, R.I. and will tip at 7:00 p.m.
