Washington, D.C.- The Providence College men's lacrosse team fell to the #8/#7 Georgetown Hoyas, 14-5, on Saturday, April 24 at Cooper Field in Washington, D.C. Providence concludes the regular season 4-8 overall, 3-7 in BIG EAST play. Providence will be the fourth seed in the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament on May 6. The Hoyas improve to 10-1 overall, 9-1 in BIG EAST play.
First Quarter:

Second Quarter:
-Georgetown scored the three-straight goals of the quarter to push its lead to eight (9-1).

-Graham Bundy Jr. scored for Georgetown to push the lead to nine (12-3).

Fourth Quarter:
-Georgetown's Dylan Watson scored the first goal of the fourth quarter (13-4).
-Jake Carraway scored for Georgetown with 12:17 left in the quarter (14-4).

John Hoffman (Smithtown, N.Y.) to score the fifth Providence goal of the day (14-5).

Game Notes:
-With Marquette's 19-8 loss to Villanova today, the Friars have clinched the fourth-seed in the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament. Even if Marquette defeats St. John's in its final game of the season, Providence holds the tiebreaker over Marquette.
-Georgetown holds the all-time series advantage, 13-2.
-Nawrocki led the Friars with three points on two goals and one assist. Nawrocki now has 115 career points on 56 goals and 59 assists. Nawrocki ranks 12th all-time in Providence Lacrosse history in assists and tied-17th in Providence Career Scoring Leaders.
