Friars' game vs. Georgetown on Jan. 6 has been postponed; Providence will now travel to Creighton for a 3:00 p.m (ET) tip-off on Jan. 6 at DJ Sokol Arena.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's basketball game vs. Georgetown, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 6 has been postponed out of an abundance of caution based on contact tracing protocols.
The Friars will instead head to Omaha, Neb. to take on Creighton at 3:00 p.m. (ET) on Jan. 6 at DJ Sokol Arena. The Bluejays were originally scheduled to play Marquette on Jan. 6, but the Golden Eagles have paused all team activities through Jan. 9 due to a positive COVID-19 test.
The Friars' match-up against Creighton will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network via FloHoops.
