Friars' game vs. Xavier on Feb. 2 has been postponed; Providence will face Villanova on Feb. 3 at 4:00 p.m.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's basketball game scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 2 against Xavier has been postponed. The Musketeers have paused team activity due COVID-related issues within the program.
Providence will instead travel to Villanova, Pa. to face BIG EAST foe Villanova on Wednesday, Feb. 3. The game will be played at Finneran Pavilion and is scheduled to tip-off at 4:00 p.m. on the BIG EAST Digital Network / FloHoops.
The match-up against the Wildcats will mark the Friars' first game since Jan. 9. The program paused all team activity on Jan. 12, forcing the postponement of five games.
