PROVIDENCE, R.I.– Providence College sophomore guard
Kaela Webb (Pontiac, Mich.) averaged 16.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game in a 2-0 week for the Friars, featuring wins over Hartford (75-57) and Boston College (76-60).
In 70 minutes of action, Webb committed just one turnover and posted a league-best +8.00 assist-turnover ratio.She shot .478 from the field (11-23), including .500 from the three-point line (8-16). In the Friars' victory over Boston College, she tallied a game-high 18 points and collected four rebounds and matched her career-high with four steals. On Nov. 13 at Hartford, she tallied 14 points, four rebounds and a career-high eight assists. Webb hit four three-pointers in each game last week and owns 14 on the season through three games.
The Friars are currently 3-0 on the season and will return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 20 against non-conference foe Monmouth. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at OceanFirst Bank Center in West Long Branch, N.J.
