At Cardinal Gibbons HS: Nonie spent the past year under the direction of head coach Louise Crocco...Previously, she spent three seasons at St. Thomas Aquinas with head coach Lisa Zielinski...A four-year varsity starter throughout her high school career, she helped her team advance to the state finals her senior season after they advanced to the regional finals her junior year...Originally from the Chicago area...Ferguson was named to the Broward County All-Star team, as well as team MVP of the Rollins College Team Camp her junior year...An honorable mention all-state selection her junior year, and a third-team All-State selection her senior season...In addition to coaching various volleyball camps, Ferguson was a senior athletic member of the Young Republican Club...On the Homecoming Committee for four years...On the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, she also was a four-year member of the student council.
