At Providence: As a Freshman: Registered a career-high five blocks against Sacred Heart on Sept. 22...Recorded 35 kills in 13 matches.
Before Providence: Ledwidge played three seasons at Glenbard South High School under the direction of Head Coach Bill Voves and Sherry Hudson...A multi-sport athlete who also played softball and basketball...Her senior year she totaled 168 kills in 74 games played to average 2.27 kills per game...Also totaled 62 digs, 51 blocks, 27 aces and nine assists...Helped lead her team to a second-place conference finish in 2003...Played at the club level for Straight Down under the direction of Bob Finlayson...An Academic All-Conference selection in 2004 and 2005 as well as an All-Conference honorable mention in 2004 and 2005...A four-year member of the National Honor Society as well as the Spanish Honor Society...The daughter of Melissa and Christopher Ledwidge...Has one younger brother, David...Born April 5, 1988...Plans to major in English.
