PROVIDENCE, R.I. – It was announced on Tuesday, Feb. 4 that Providence College senior
Kimberley May (Auckland, New Zealand) was named BIG EAST Indoor Track Female Athlete of the Week. May, a five-time All-American, earned the honor after she led the Friar women's team at the Boston University Terrier Classic on Jan. 31. Her time is the seventh fastest indoor 3,000 ever run by a collegian. Two of the three runners who finished in front of her were Olympians.
The Friars will return to action on Feb. 14-15 at the Boston University Valentine Invitational in Boston, Mass.
