NEW YORK, N.Y. – Providence College men's lacrosse goaltender
James Corasaniti (New York, N.Y.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on April 22, following the team's conference match-up against No. 6 Denver. It marked the third-consecutive week that Corasaniti has earned Weekly Honors. He previously claimed BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on April 8 was named to the Weekly Honor Roll on April 15.
Corasaniti registered nine saves on 16 shots, holding Denver to a season-low seven goals. The graduate student has started every game for Providence this season and has registered 143 saves. He averages 11 saves a game, which ranks second in the BIG EAST. Corasaniti was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team and was named BIG EAST Golkeeper of the Year at the conclusion of the 2023 campaign.
