Matt Grillo Named To All-BIG EAST Second Team

New York, N.Y.- Matt Grillo (Setauket, N.Y.) of the Providence College men's lacrosse team was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team, as released by the conference office on Wednesday, May 4.
Grillo, a senior captain, led the Friars in both points (45) and goals (36) in the 2022 season. Starting in all 14 games, Grillo found the back of the net in 12. He tallied two man-up goals and caused six turnovers while holding a .614 shots on goal percentage. He recorded his 100th career goal against Marquette, becoming the fifth Friar to reach the milestone in program history. This is Grillo's first All-BIG EAST recognition.
