Toby Burgdorf Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Burgdorf tallied 15 saves and held a .682 save percentage in the four overtime game against Marquette.

New York, N.Y.- Providence College men's lacrosse player Toby Burgdorf (Westfield, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on April 20th following his performance against the Marquette Golden Eagles on April 17th. The Friars fell to the Golden Eagles, 7-6, in four overtimes.
 
Burgdorf registered 15 saves and held a .682 save percentage against the Golden Eagles.
 
This is Burgdorf's fifth time this season earning a BIG EAST weekly award. Burgdorf was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 16, March 16 and April 13. He was also named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on March 23. Additionally, Burgdorf was named to the Tewaarton Watch List on March 11.
 
The Friars return to action on April 24 against the No. 8/7 Georgetown Hoyas. Face-off is set for 2:30 p.m. at Cooper Field in Washington, D.C. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.
