Toby Burgdorf Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Burgdorf had a career-high 20 saves and a .606 save percentage against Georgetown.
NEW YORK, N.Y.- Providence College men's lacrosse player Toby Burgdorf (Westfield, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Tuesday, March 23 after his performance against Georgetown on March 20. The Friars fell to the Hoyas, 14-9.
Burgdorf had a career-high 20 saves and a .606 save percentage against Georgetown. Additionally, Burgdorf picked up a groundball.
This is Burgdorf's third time this season earning a BIG EAST weekly award. Burgdorf was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 16 and March 16. Additionally, Burgdorf was named to the Tewaarton Watch List on March 11.
The Friars host the #8/#7 Denver Pioneers on Saturday, March 27. Face-off is set for 11:00 a.m. at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, R.I.
