BOSTON, MASS.- The Providence College men's and women's indoor track team competed at the IC4A / ECAC Championships in Boston, Mass. on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8.
On the women's side, three Friars finished in the top five in their respective events.
Tessa Hunt (Wellington, New Zealand) ran a personal-best in her third-place finish in the 1,000-meter (2:49.93).
Bridget Mitchell (Milton, Mass.) placed fourth in the mile with a personal-best time of 4:50.64. In the 3,000-meter,
Lilly Tuck (Sunderland, Canada) had a time of 9:29.84 and finished fifth. Tuck's time was a personal-best.
Michael O'Leary (St. James, N.Y.) concluded his Friars track career with a fourth-place personal-best finish in the 3,000-meter with a time of 8:10.10.
Jack Carleo (Newburyport, Mass.) was another Friar placing in the top-10. Carleo finished ninth in the 800-meter with a time of 1:52.41.
