Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2020 Schedule

The schedule is comprised of two road scrimmages, five regular-season home games and nine regular-season games on the road.
PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College men's lacrosse team announced its 2020 schedule today (Nov. 11).
The Friars open up the 2020 campaign with two road scrimmages. Providence will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday, Jan. 18 to take on the Utes. The team's second scrimmage will be in Amherst, Mass. on Saturday, Jan. 25 versus the UMass Minutemen.
Providence starts its nine game non-conference slate on the road against the Boston University Terriers on Saturday, Feb. 1. The Friars' home opener is Saturday, Feb. 8 against the Crusaders of Holy Cross. On Saturday Feb. 15, Providence takes on Ocean State foe, Bryant University on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium.
Providence hits the road for three-straight games against St. Joseph's (Feb. 22), Brown (Feb. 29) and Sacred Heart (Mar. 7). The Friars return home for one game against Hofstra (Mar.14) before traveling to Fairfield (Mar. 17) and Drexel (Mar. 22) to finish non-conference play.
BIG EAST action begins on March 28 against St. John's at home in Providence, R.I. Providence heads to Georgetown (Apr. 4) and Marquette (Apr. 11) before returning home for senior day on April 18 against Denver. The regular season will be capped off on the road against Villanova (Apr. 25).
The BIG EAST Tournament will be held at Providence College from April 30 to May 2.
