Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2019 Schedule

The schedule features seven home games on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's lacrosse team announced its 2019 schedule today (Dec. 5).
 
Providence hosts the University of Massachusetts for a scrimmage on Saturday, Jan. 26.
 
Regular season competition kicks off at home against Boston University on Sunday, Feb. 3. The Friars then play three-straight road games, traveling to Holy Cross (Feb. 9), Bryant (Feb. 16) and St. Joseph's (Feb. 23).
 
Providence returns home to play Sacred Heart (March 2) before another three-game road swing. That stretch features games at Harvard (March 9), Hofstra (March 16) and UMass Lowell (March 19).
 
The Friars face-off with the Drexel Dragons on Sunday, March 24, before opening up BIG EAST play.
 
League action starts at St. John's (March 30). Providence then welcomes Georgetown (April 6) and Marquette (April 13). Cross-town rival Brown rounds out the three-game homestand on Tuesday, April 16.
 
The final two games of the regular season will be played at Denver (April 20) and at home against Villanova (April 27).
 
The 2019 BIG EAST Tournament, hosted by Denver, will take place from May 2-4.
