Will Mazzone Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Providence College men's lacrosse senior Will Mazzone (Stony Brook, N.Y.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll today (May 2). The honor marks Mazzone's fourth BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll recognition this season.

Mazzone received the honor after he registered a team-high three goals and one assist for four points in the 14-7 loss at No. 17 Villanova on April 30. With the four points, Mazzone is now just four points away from reaching the all-time single season record at Providence.

 Mazzone and the Friars will return to action on Thursday, May 5 in Denver, Colo. for the programs' first BIG EAST Tournament appearance against Denver. The game is scheduled for a 9:00 p.m. ET start.
