John Galloway Named To MLL All-Star Game

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

It was announced yesterday (June 2) that Providence College men's lacrosse assistant coach John Galloway was named to the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) All-Star game.

Galloway has spent five season with the Rochester Rattlers. This season, Galloway has played in six of the seven games for the Rattlers, posting a 3-3 record and 90 saves for a .539 save percentage and 13.05 goals against average.

In 2014, Galloway posted a 10-4 record, started all 14 games. He recorded a personal-best 194 saves for an 11.16 goals-against average to be named the 2014 Warrior Goalie of the Year. He led the Rattlers to the MLL Championship game and on Aug. 22 was named to the 2014 MLL All-Pro Team. 

The MLL All-Star game is to be played on June 13th at the BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas and will be streamed live on CBS Sports Network at 7:00 p.m. E.T.
