Sean Wright Named To BIG EAST Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - On Monday, April 22 junior attack Sean Wright (Silver Spring, Md.) was named to the BIG EAST men's lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll.
Wright tallied six points for Providence last week. Wright tallied one goal in the Friars' 7-6 loss to Brown on Tuesday, April 16. On Saturday, April 20 Wright notched four goals and dished out one assist in the Friars' 16-13 loss to St. John's. Wright's four goal performance on Saturday marked his eighth hat-trick of the season.
Wright has tallied at least one point in each of the Friars' 15 games this season. He currently leads the team in scoring with 49 points on a team-best 38 goals and 11 assists.
Providence returns to action on Saturday, April 27 when the Friars will travel to Villanova, Pa. to face-off with Villanova. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
