Brendon McGuire Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - On Monday, April 15 Providence College men's lacrosse freshman Brendon McGuire (Wycoff, N.Y.) was named to the BIG EAST men's lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll.

McGuire tallied three goals in the Friars' 12-11 win over Holy Cross on Saturday, April 13 in Worcester, Mass, McGuire notched goals in the first, second and fourth quarter of the game to propel the Friars to victory.

McGuire has played in 12 of Providence's 13 games. The freshman midfielder has recorded seven points on six goals and one assist.

Providence returns to action on Tuesday, April 16 when the Friars host Brown. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and will be played on Lennon Family Field.
