Women's Basketball Visits Carl Lauro Elementary School

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's basketball program visited Carl Lauro Elementary School on Friday, September 14. It marked the second visit to the school by the program. During late summer, the women's basketball staff assisted the school with painting the third floor of the Carl Lauro's west wing. On Friday, members of the team joined a fourth grade science class to help with a lesson about magnetic fields. The team also read to third grade English class. The women's basketball student-athletes also participated in a question and answer session with the elementary school students.
