Jake Nolan Named BIG EAST Offensive Player Of The Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College senior Jake Nolan (Westport, Conn.) was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for men's lacrosse on Monday, April 30 . Nolan led the Friars to their first-ever BIG EAST Conference victory with a 15-11 win against No. 13 Villanova on April 28.

The attackman was responsible for five points on three goals and two assists. Nolan's three goals came off of three shot attempts. It marked his second-highest point total of the season, having previously notched six points against Wagner on February 25 on a career-high six goals.

Nolan finishes his career at Providence with 78 points on 34 goals and 44 assists.
