Head Coach Bob Deraney announced the 2010-11 schedule on Wednesday, May 19. All games are tentative. Providence College women's hockey will play 34 regular season games with 17 to be played at Schneider Arena. The Friars will open the regular season with a pair of games in Pittsburgh, Pa. against CHA opponent Robert Morris on October 1 and 2. Providence will look to claim its fourth Hockey East regular season championship after winning the regular season title last season.

The Friars will face Canadian powerhouse McGill University in a pair of exhibition games at Schneider Arena on September 24 and 25. Providence begins the regular season with eight-straight non-conference games before opening Hockey East action with a home game against defending Hockey East Champion Boston University on October 29. The 16th annual Mayor's Cup against intracity rival Brown will take place on November 27 at Brown.

Of the 33 contests, 21 will be against Hockey East opponents. The Friars will face Robert Morris and Syracuse from the CHA. PC will play nine ECAC opponents including; Brown, Clarkson, Colgate, Dartmouth, Princeton, RPI, St. Lawrence, Union and Yale.

Individual game tickets will go on sale Monday, September 20. A family plan, which includes 2 adult season tickets and 2 youth/senior season tickets, is just $70.
