Tabb Earns Second-Team All-America

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Senior, Jessica Tabb (Holland, Mass.) has been selected as a 2000-01 JOFA Women's University Division Ice Hockey Second-Team All-America.
Tabb is only the second player in program history at Providence to be named to an All-America team. Sara Decosta was honored in both 1999 and 2000.
Tabb finished the 2000-01 season with a team-leading 19 goals, 34 assists and 53 points. With her collegiate career now at a close, she ranks seventh all-time at Providence with 86 career goals, tied for eighth all-time with 84 career assists and eighth all-time in career points with 170. She is a two-time ECAC Honorable Mention Selection and ECAC Second-Team selection, and was named ECAC Rookie of the Year after the 1997-98 season. Tabb is also a three-time New England Hockey Writers All-Star. She is one, of only two Providence College women's ice hockey players to receive that honor three times.
Providence finished the season with a 18-14-3 record overall, and a 10-11-3 mark in the ECAC.
