Bio
As A Junior: Finished eighth in the 50-yard freestyle at the Harold Anderson Invitational (22.20)... Placed third against Holy Cross in the 100-yard freestyle (50.56).
As a Sophomore: Placed second in the 50 scm freestyle (24.28) against Fairfield… At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Eigner placed fifth in the 100 freestyle (49.34/49.11), 14thin the 100 butterfly (56.05/57.36), and fourth in the 50 freestyle (22.30/21.07)… placed second in the 50 scm freestyle (24.50) and fourth in the 100 scm freestyle (57.10) against Holy Cross…Eigner qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in East Meadow, NY. Individually, he placed 19th in the 50 freestyle (22.05), 21st in the 100 butterfly (54.30), and 19th in the 100 freestyle (49.13), and he was also a member of the 200 freestyle relay that placed fifth.
As a Freshman: At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Eigner placed 15th in the 50 freestyle (22.72), 14th in the 100 butterfly (55.12), and 14th in the 100 freestyle (50.21)…Placed sixth in the 50 freestyle (22.69) at the BIG EAST Tri-Meet in New Jersey…Eigner qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in Geneva, Ohio where he competed in the 50 freestyle (22.16), 100 butterfly (53.51), and 100 freestyle (48.23).
Before Providence: Earned three varsity letters swimming at Cheshire High School…three time All-Conference…two time All-State…holds school records in 200 freestlye relay and 400 freestyle relay.
Personal: Born February 2, 1999…Son of Kim and Matt Eigner…has one brother, Andrew, student and swimmer at Connecticut College c/o 2019.
