Father Kilanowski Humbert began at Providence College in July 2018. He is a Dominican Friar and priest, as well as an associate professor of mathematics, assistant to the chaplains at campus ministry, and serves as the chaplain of the cross-country team.
Father Kilanowski came to PC as his first assignment after being ordained as a priest. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, a bachelor’s degree in astronomy, and an master’s degree in Mathematics from The Ohio State University. He also received a PhD in mathematics from the Dominican House of Studies as well as a bachelor of sacred theology and master of divinity and licentiate in sacred theology.
Father Kilanowski enjoys running and came in 7th of last year’s Friars 5k and has also qualified to run the Boston Marathon.
Father Kilanowski has served on the Core Curriculum Committee and was just granted tenure.
Father Kilanowski was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in Darien, Conn.
