Hadley Pride has committed to Providence College and will compete for the program beginning in the Fall of 2025.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College volleyball Head Coach Margot Royer-Johnson announced today [Jan. 9] that graduate student Hadley Pride (Nashville, Tenn.) has committed to attend Providence College and compete for the volleyball program beginning in the Fall of 2025.
"Hadley is a gritty defensive player," Royer-Johnson said. "She thrives on keeping the ball off the floor. Her experience will enhance our defense right away. We are happy she is aboard!"
Pride, a 5-5, defensive specialist, graduated from Tennessee State University. During her career with the Tigers, she played in 82 matches and 316 sets. Pride recorded 957 career digs (3.03 digs per set), 119 assists (0.38 assists per set) and 56 service aces. During the 2024 season, she registered 618 digs (5.17 digs per set), ranking ninth in the NCAA. Pride attended Hillsboro High School, where she served as captain her senior season and received District Player of the Year. Pride played club for Alliance Volleyball.
