BOSTON, Mass. – The Providence College women's track team competed at the Terrier Classic at Boston University on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025. Senior
Kimberley May (Auckland, New Zealand) led the squad as she set a school record in the 3,000 meters when she placed fourth and was the second collegiate runner in a time of 8:44.73. The Friars also got a strong performance from sophomore
Maeve O'Neill (Cork, Ireland) as she established a school record in the 500 meters as she finished fourth in a time of 1:12.48.
Graduate student
Shannon Flockhart (Longstanton, England) turned in an impressive performance in the mile, placing ninth and first among college runners in a time of 4:31.71. Sophomore
Kiera Hall (Christchurch, New Zealand) also ran the mile and finished in a personal-best time of 4:49.30.
Graduate student
Alex Millard (Kent, England) competed in the 5,000 meters and was the top collegiate finisher (12
th overall) in a time 15:22.71. Her time is the seventh fastest in the NCAA this season.
Junior
Jill Fenerty (Franklin, Mass.) competed in the 400 meters and placed 15
th in a time of 56.45.
The Friar women's team will return to action on Feb. 14-15 at the BU Valentine Invitational in Boston, Mass.
