Ryan Bell Named To USA Lacrosse Preseason All-America Third Team

SPARKS, Md. – The USA Lacrosse Association released its 2025 Division I Men's Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans today [January 22]. Providence College senior attacker Ryan Bell (Smithtown, N.Y.) was recognized among the honorees as a Third Team selection.
  
Bell has put together an exceptional career with the Friars, tallying 51 goals and 119 assists in his first three seasons. He finished the 2024 season ranked first on the team in points (66) and assists (45). He is the Providence College all-time assists leader (119), having passed Matt Pymm '99, who closed his career with 102 assists. Bell also set the single-season assist record (45) and single-season point record (66) during the Friars' final game of the season in 2024. Kyle Ojakian previously set both records with 42 assists and 63 points in 2002. Bell scored five-or-more points in eight games last season, including five games with seven-or-more. He ranked first in the BIG EAST and third in the nation in assists per game (3.00) and ranked first in the BIG EAST in points per game (4.4). He was honored by the league five times during the regular season, earning BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week three times and Weekly Honor Roll recognition, twice. Additionally, he was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year, All-BIG EAST First Team and landed a spot on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List.
  
The last Friar to earn Preseason All-American recognition was Michael Chabra, who received 2024 USA Lacrosse Preseason All-America Honorable Mention recognition.
