Volleyball Announces New Addition To The 2022 Class

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Head Coach Margot Royer-Johnson announced today (Jan. 6) that Kayla Grant (Rowlett, Texas) will join the Providence College volleyball team in the fall of 2022.
Grant is a 6'2" middle blocker from Rowlett, Texas. A transfer from Stephen F. Austin State University, Grant will be coming to Providence as a second semester freshman. She was named both Blocker of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year in the 2020 season at Sachse High School and was named to the All-Academic Team in both 2019 and 2020. In addition, Grant played for the Madfrog Volleyball Club.
"Kayla is a great addition to our program. We are especially excited to have her here this spring so that we can work with her this early. She is a strong, aggressive middle blocker who has had great competitive experiences at the high school and club level, in addition to Stephen F. Austin. She will add her max effort work ethic and a winning attitude to the squad."
