Allison Barber Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Providence College senior setter Allison Barber (Woodbury, Minn.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for volleyball, as announced by the league on Tuesday, March 9. This is the third BIG EAST award for the senior, having previously been named to the Weekly Honor Roll (Sept. 4, 2018) and was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week (Sept. 26, 2017).
Barber tallied 43 assists, two block assists against Seton Hall on Friday, also adding three kills and nine digs. Barber added 28 assists in Saturday's sweep on Seton Hall with 15 digs and three kills. Overall, Barber finished the weekend at 71 assists, 24 digs and six kills.
The Friars will return home this weekend to take on the Connecticut Huskies. The matches are set for Friday, March 12 at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 13 at 6:00 p.m. in Alumni Hall in Providence, R.I.
