Ryan Zimmerman Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Zimmerman recorded six goals and two assists in a 1-1 week for Providence.
New York, N.Y.- Providence College men's lacrosse player Ryan Zimmerman (Syracuse, N.Y.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Tuesday, March 9 after his performances against Fairfield on March 3 and Villanova on March 7. Providence went 1-1 on the week after defeating Fairfield, 18-17 and falling to Villanova, 11-8.
Zimmerman tallied career-highs in goals (four) and points (six) in the win over Fairfield. Zimmerman picked up one groundball against the Stags. The graduate student scored two goals and picked up a ground ball against Villanova.
Zimmerman is tied for first in goals (11), second in man-up goals (two) and third in points (13) for the Friars.
The Friars return to action on Saturday, March 13 against the Marquette Golden Eagles. Face-off is set for 12:00 p.m. ET in Milwaukee, Wis.
