Gillian Kenney Named To The BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Kenney scored the game-tying goal against No. 23 Georgetown.
NEW YORK, N.Y. – Providence College women's soccer freshman Gillian Kenney (Hanover, Mass.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, Oct. 4. The freshman scored the game-tying goal against No. 23 Georgetown in a 1-1 double overtime result on Sunday, Oct. 3 in Washington, D.C.
Kenney is now the second leading scorer for the Friars this season with 11 points on four goals and three assists. She ranks in the top-10 in three different statistical categories in the BIG EAST. Kenney ranks ninth in total points (11) and ninth in points per game (1.00). She also is tied for fifth in goals (4).
The Friars will return to action on Thursday, Oct. 7 at Villanova at 3:00 p.m. on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
