McNulty and Hogan of Women’s Soccer Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College sophomores Hannah McNulty (Warwick, R.I.) and Shelby Hogan (Franklin, Mass.) were named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Sept. 17. Hogan has now received a weekly award for five weeks straight.

Hogan played all 202 minutes in net for the Friars last week, totaling a league-high 19 saves. She tallied five saves against Drexel (Sept. 13) and set her new career-high with 14 saves against Arkansas in the Friars' double overtime draw. Hogan posted a .905 save percentage and 0.89 goals against average for the week.

McNulty, who earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week last week, followed up her performance by notching two goals against Drexel in the Friars' win (2-1) on Sept. 13. This marked consecutive games that McNulty scored two goals. McNulty played her season-high 91 minutes against Arkansas (Sept. 16) while posting one shot on goal.
