NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference announced its weekly award today, Sept. 14. Among the honorees, junior Rachel Ugolik (Hamden, Conn.) was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week. Ugolik tallied seven points over two games. In the Friars' 2-1 win at Brown on Sept. 10, Ugolik scored her second goal of the season. At Boston College, Ugolik came back with two unassisted goals during regulation and also assisted on senior Catherine Zimmerman's (Madison, N.J.) double-overtime game-winner in the 101st minute. With the 3-2 win at Boston College on Sept. 13, the Friars claim their first win over the Eagles since 1993 and just third win in the 28-game all-time series.
