"Road games are very difficult and today was no different," head coach Sam Lopes said. "In order to win on the road you have to take your chances and find a way to get a result. We competed and had a few very good opportunities where we needed to be more composed and clinical but didn't capitalize, that's the difference on the road. On a positive note, it was a much different match versus them then when the program played them a couple years ago. We have to regroup and stick to the process as we have another match in a few days."
The Friars will return to action to take on Maine at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 at the Ray Treacy Track and Field Complex in Providence, R.I.
