Volleyball Represented On America East Fall Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
The Providence College volleyball team had 10 student-athletes named to the 2013 America East Fall Honor Roll, as it was announced by the conference on Thursday, Feb. 6. Honor Roll recognition is obtained when a student-athlete records a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Student-athletes who achieve a 3.5 GPA or higher earn their way onto the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
The following Friars were named to the Honor Roll: juniors Annie Russian (Round Rock, Texas), Mackenzie Ziegler (Portage, Wis.) and Beth Hoyt (San Luis Obispo, Calif.), sophomores Lindsay Witt (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Jordan Wiesler (Coconut Creek, Fla.), Nicole Fletcher (Syracuse, N.Y.) and Emily Marzo (LaGrange Park, Ill.) and freshmen Kayla Fitzgerald (Redlands, Calif.), Michelle Cruz (Midland Park, N.J.) and Abby Dix (Gibsonia, Pa.). Russian, Ziegler, Marzo and Cruz also were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
