Anderson joins the Friars after previously serving as an assistant coach at Merrimack College. He spent the 2017-18 season with the Warriors, where he helped the team defeat three nationally ranked opponents.

Prior to arriving in North Andover, Anderson spent two seasons at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). There, he was the team's recruiting coordinator, oversaw the defense, goaltenders and power play unit and assisted with game management and practice planning.  Anderson helped guide the Engineers to back-to-back postseason appearances.

Before RPI, Anderson spent two years at Holy Cross in a similar capacity. The Crusaders had a combined record of 36-15-4 over those two seasons.

The Faribault, Minn. native also worked at a pair of private goaltending academies, including the Goalie Academy of Virginia and Goalie Academy of Boston from October 2011 through October 2013. He was a full-time instructor while also running clinics, managing the pro shop and updating and maintaining the website and other marketing tools. In addition, he has coached at the high school and youth levels, including stints with the Howard Huskies and Reston Raiders.

Anderson attended Shattuck St. Mary's from 2003-07, where he played hockey, golf and tennis. He earned Bachelor's Degree in business from American International College in 2011 and was a goaltender and four-year member of the men's ice hockey team. A multiple Dean's List selection, he also played tennis for the Yellow Jackets.
