Anderson Nance joined Providence College as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in December of 2016.
In his current role, Nance is the head strength and conditioning coach for men’s ice hockey and lacrosse and assists all athletes that lift in the Schneider Arena weight room.
Before his career with the Friars, Nance worked for Brown University in the fall of 2016. Nance has interned for multiple programs, including Holy Cross (2015-16) and the Cleveland Browns (2015). He also worked full time for Mike Boyle’s Strength and Conditioning in Woburn (2014).
Nance attended the University of Rhode Island where he was a member of the football team. He graduated from URI with a Bachelor’s Degree in kinesiology in 2011. Nance is on track to earn his Master of Education degree at Providence College in 2023.
