PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 7/6 Providence College men's hockey team fell to Northeastern, 4-2, snapping the Friars' nine-game winning streak on Friday (Feb. 13) at Schneider Arena.

NOTES
- John Mustard got the Friars on the board at 8:59 of the first period with his 12th goal of the season. Graham Gamache sent Mustard streaking down the left wing and he beat Zacher with a backhand shot. Julius Sumpf also earned an assist on the play.
- Northeastern responded with a pair of quick strikes late in the period to take a 2-1 lead after 20 minutes.
- Giacomo Martino's power-play goal tied the game at 1-1 before Joe Connor beat Parsons on a breakaway just 52 seconds later.
- Roger McQueen tied the game at 2-2 at the 7:27 mark of the second period with his ninth goal of the season. Logan Sawyer and Jonathan Fauchon earned the assists as McQueen drive the net and jammed a shot past Zacher.
- Providence held Northeastern to just one shot on goal in the second period.
- Jacob Mathieu gave Northeastern a 3-2 lead on the power play with 7:11 remaining in regulation.
- Mathieu followed up with his second goal of the game into an empty net with 54 seconds left.
- The Friars' nine-game winning streak was snapped with the defeat.
