DURHAM, N.H. – Junior Tanner Adams recorded a career-high four points as the No. 7 Providence College men's hockey team scored six unanswered goals, including five in the third period to defeat New Hampshire, 6-1, on Friday night at the Whittemore Center. With the win, the Friars extended their winning streak to eight games.

- The Wildcats struck first just 1:57 into the game as Cam MacDonald re-directed a backdoor pass from Nick Ring on the power play.
- Hudson Malinoski netted his seventh of the season with a power-play goal at 15:41 of the second period to tie the game at 1-1. Julius Sumpf and Will Elger earned the assists on the play.
- After a Friar coach's challenge wiped out a UNH goal early in the third period, Aleksi Kivioja registered what proved to be the game-winning goal at 3:43, kickstarting a five-goal third period outburst.
- Elger followed with his first of the night just 37 seconds later to make it 3-1.
- Adams re-directed a point shot from Quinn Mantei at 9:50 for his ninth of the season to extend the lead to 4-1.
- Elger tacked on with his second of the game, beating Chauvette with a wrist shot from the right wing.
