PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College women's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie versus the UMass Lowell River Hawks (0-0-1) in both team's season opener on Aug. 12 in Providence, R.I. The Friars open the season with a 0-0-1 overall record. Freshman Jocy Koffi (Abidjan, Ivory Coast) scored her first career goal for the Friars.
