BOSTON, MASS. - The Providence College women's soccer team tied Boston University, 1-1, on the road in Boston, Mass. on Sunday, Sept. 6. The Friars moved to 2-0-5 overall this season, while BU moved to a 2-3-1 mark. Signe Tingager (Alleroed, Denmark) notched her third goal of the season for the Friars, while Caitlin Daley (Norwich, Conn.) had another shutout performance in the second half.

GAME FLOW & NOTES

BU set the tone in the 33^rd minute (32:33) as Kat Slott scored off a penalty to kick to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
The Terriers outshot the Friars 5-2 in the first half.
Providence equalized in the 71^st minute (70:11) as Signe Tingager tied the game at 1-1 with her third goal of the season. Jocy Koffi (Abidjan, Ivory Coast) assisted on the goal, as Tingager sent it off the post deep into the back of the net.
