- Georgetown struck first in the 17th minute (16:08) to go up ,1-0, in the first half. The ball was punched out and Jocelyn Lohmeyer collected the loose ball and fired it bottom left to score.
- In the 31st minute (30:10) Leila Anazagasty-Pursoo (Bayshore, N.Y.) had a one-on-one breakaway that went far right.
- Georgetown outshot Providence 11-6 in the first half.Â
- The Hoyas held 52-percent of the possession in the first half, and the Friars checked in at 48-percent.
- Providence answered in the 64th minute (63:41) as Amaya Coffie (Warwick, R.I.) scored her first goal of the season to tie the match, 1-1. Coffie made a slide tackle to gain control of the ball and dumped it off to Carolyn Hinkle (Millersville, Pa.). Hinkle then crossed the ball through the box back to Coffie for a deflection.Â
- It marked Coffie's first goal of the season in her second game back.
- Both teams went scoreless during the final 26 minutes of regulation.
