PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College women's soccer player Jocy Koffi (Abidjan, Ivory Coast) earned two BIG EAST weekly honors on Monday, Nov. 2. Koffi was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week following a career-high performance this past week. Providence went 1-1, including a season-high five-goal performance in a 5-0 shutout against Butler on Oct. 31.

Koffi logged 166 minutes across two games, recording two goals and one assist for a career-high five points against Butler. The performance marked her second multi-goal game of the season and helped lead Providence to its first unbeaten home season since 2020-21. Koffi currently leads the BIG EAST in goals (eight) and points (21). This marks the first time in program history that a Friar has earned two major BIG EAST weekly awards in the same week and the first time since August 2025 that Providence has earned a conference weekly award in consecutive weeks. With her third Rookie of the Week honor, Koffi now holds the program record for the most Rookie of the Week awards in a single season.

The Friars will return to action for their final match of the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 7, against Marquette at 7 p.m. EST in Milwaukee, Wis. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
